Free Sync 1080p or 1440p 144hz on Vega 56? Is 1440p worth the $140 more

Go to solution Solved by KhakiHat,

It'll be tough finding a monitor with 1440p and 144Hz for around $200 that is actually worth it.

Really it just depends if you think you really need the extra resolution, if not you can probably get by with 1080p for quite some time.

I know the Vega 56 is very competent at 1440p mid-settings-high and excellent at 1080p ultra. I'm thinking probably to go with

this (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/J47v6h/viewsonic-vx2458-mhd-236-1920x1080-144-hz-monitor-vx2458-mhd) "ViewSonic - VX2458-mhd 23.6" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor" with Free Sync

but all the 1440p 120/144hz displays with Free Sync, cost around $300, do you think its worth the upgrade?

And if so do you know of any particularly good deals (around $200ish)

Thanks,
