I've been using itunes, but its kind of pissing me off with all the crashes on my system, so is there any better alternatives? I used itunes before because I had an iPhone, not I have a Galaxy Note 3, so no need for itunes now.

 

 

Also I need it to have 2 functions

 

1. shuffle

2. importing CDs (so if I insert a music CD, the player can copy the music files onto my computer as MP3 files.)

 

Those are pretty much all the requirements. Unless WMP can do it.

I use Winamp (sometimes) and I like it. Built in visualizer is quite cool

Media Monkey, I use this

Proud user of Foobar. Its like Firefox of music players. Looks crude and hard to use at start but has hundreds of plugins to make it yours.

I use MusicBee for my music management, would thoroughly recommend it, in order to rip to MP3 you need to just follow the instructions here and you're set.

 

But WMP can do shuffle and rip to MP3 (Windows 7 version can) but I much prefer a 3rd party one like MusicBee.
