I need 2 usb 2.0 headers and 2 usb 3.0 headers my motherboard has none and all I have left on it is a mini pcie slot. I have seen mini pcie to dual usb 3.0 headers but none with both 2.0 and 3.0. One with 4 usb 2.0 would be fine because I could use 2.0 to 3.0 adapter. Help would be appreciated.

Do you mean something like this?

And also, like @Evanair, I'm a bit curious about what motherboard you have that lacks USB headers?

Get an internal USB 2.0 hub?

https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Internal-Controller-Black-AC-IUSBH-M1/dp/B01IFGFTJ2

There's cheaper ones I'm sure but just as an example.

As for the 3.0 I'm sure they make internal hubs for those too but you can just get a card if you don't want to split the bandwidth up more, I assume for 2.0 it's just basic IO and printer connectivity not bandwidth sensitive?

yep

OH! I misunderstood terribly! Let me googlfu this for ya and see what I can come up with.

Ok, you can get a pcie USB 3.0 card with 2 USB 3.0 internal headers (and some external ports too) and then use one of the 3.0 headers with an adapter cable to get a single 2.0 header and then use an internal hub to get that single 2.0 header into multiple 2.0 headers and an internal 3.0 hub to turn the other 3.0 header into multiple internal 3.0 headers. Convoluted, yes. Expensive, probably.

Let me find some actual products to see if I can make a shopping list for you, any store preferences like Amazon, no from China, etc?

i thought of the same thing but could not find usb 3.0 internal hub if you could though that would be great

https://www.amazon.com/AKOAK-Female-Motherboard-Adapter-Converter/dp/B01MFB04JP 3.0 to 2.0 header

https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Internal-Controller-Black-AC-IUSBH-M1/dp/B01IFGFTJ2/ 2.0 internal hub

https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Port-Internal-Controller-HB-INTR/dp/B0794V75LB/ 3.0 internal hub

https://www.amazon.com/PCI-Ports-Header-Express-Dual/dp/B07GSQR6D4/ 3.0 card with 2 3.0 internal headers (no external ports, sorry)

So to review...

3.0 card with 2 internal 3.0 headers. Lets call them A and B. Port A will go to the 3.0 hub and give you internal 3.0 ports a plenty. Port B connects to the 3.0 to 2.0 header adapter and then to the 2.0 internal hub giving you internal 2.0 ports a plenty.

Or you could get a USB 3.0 card with a single internal 3.0 header (and external ports) and then daisy chain the 3.0 header to 3.0 hub to 2.0 cable to 2.0 hub, but I don't know if that would cause issues.
