Thunderbolt to HDMI question.

Just want to confirm something..

I have a USB Type C (Thunderbolt 3) connection on my laptop. I want to connect my laptop to a TV via HDMI to watch movies.

I assume either of these will do just fine? Or would you recommend something else?
