CPU Virtualization

Go to solution Solved by mortino,

It will make bluestacks perform significantly faster, I have not ever heard of it or noticed it interfering with performance outside of VM's.

BlueStacks 4 wants me to enable virtualization, will this affect performance for other games/tasks?

If it's talking about virtualization in the BIOS then it shouldn't. Not in any meaningful way at least.

You don't know what you're talking about.

You should enabled Virtualization (VT-D / AMD-V), since bluestack is essentially an Android in VM, it would take advantages of the virtualization.

I'll admit that I don't have extensive experience working with applications that require virtualization or any potential adverse affects that may come with enabling VT-d (from what experience I DO have from enabling this in the past for testing various Linux server operating systems I would say there are few to none for the host though I'll openly admit I am likely wrong here in one way or another) but despite this fact saying "You don't know what you're talking about." doesn't help anyone and just make you look like an ass on the internet.
