Good after market cooler options for GTX 1080 Founder's Edition Video Card?

TheGwardian

Hello, I'm wanting to look into good options for after market coolers for my GTX 1080 Founder's Edition video card.

I'm very new at this so I'd like something pretty easy to do, but I'd like to see if I can get it to be cooler when playing games. The FE card only has that one big ol' fan on it, so I think that's why it's getting pretty hot.

Thank you.

Something like this (plus fans, radiator, tubing, coolant, pump, and fittings) should do:

I don't think I'm comfortable / confident enough to go the full custom waterloop route yet, being my first time doing this with a video card.

I was considering something along the lines of:

https://www.raijintek.com/en/products_detail.php?ProductID=46 With 2-3 fans.

Or, another option I was considering, is: https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Accelero-Efficient-VRM-Cooling-DCACO-V800001-GBA01/dp/B00HHMJIIO

Thoughts?

The Raijintek doesn't directly cool the VRMs, but other than that, seems OK. Note: only supports 2 fans, so factor that into your planning.

The second one doesn't support officially 10-series cards, and also doesn't directly cool the VRMs. Seems a bit crusty, with the overblown backplate.

Given the choice between the two, I'd pick the first, but be very sure to cool the VRMs with some aftermarket heatsinks.

EKWB almost makes an AIO version with their waterblocks.   More or less all you have to do is attach the block and plug the tubes in

It does say that. The page the OP linked did not.
