What are your current specs, what the hell is 3000 and what is your usage case for the PC?

I would build a mining rig, and turn that 3000 into 10,000

Nope, you said "collage". And if your post says "college" now, it's because you changed it. What's makes you assume he hasn't been to college yet either?
