Hi all,

I've been battling an issue with my computer for some time now. I had a perfectly working setup for about 6 months:

Asus B350 Prime

Ryzen 1600

Samsung 960 Evo

Some RAM

other hardware (Already disconnected and reconnected everything to no avail.

Issue is that I moved house and setup my PC and it wouldn't boot. M.2 doesn't show in BIOS but I think that was normal given my reading online.

Sent the mobo back to reseller, and was sent a new one. Same issue.

Sent it back again, and they claim track damage, won't replace or repair.

Anyway....I bought another B350. Plugged everything in, had some issues getting windows to boot, but it did! Once I removed the other storage devices attached to SATA ports, it eventually booted.

Moved the PC into place, bam, no boot.

I AM SO FRUSTRATED! I'm a very savvy technician. I usually work everything out in a few minutes/I've done something stupid and I resolve the issue. I don't know what else to check.

The SSD works fine on an external NVMe SSD caddy. The Mobo boots into BIOS no issue, updates etc. There are no errors on any tests I've run. GAH!

Help a sad man. Please.

Maybe look at if you have a PCIE block on certain lanes when certain SATA posts are active. This is true of the ASROCK B450 PRO 4. What board are you on now?

Just saw this on ASUS, what SATA port are you plugged in to?

2*When a SATA / PCIE mode M.2 device is installed, the M.2 Socket shares bandwidth with the SATA6G_5/6 ports.
3*When a SATA mode M.2 device is installed, the M.2 Socket shares bandwidth with the SATA6G_5/6 ports
