So I bought and used PC, and everything works but when I try to put more ram(2gb) in to second slot, PC won't post screen, both Rams are from same company " rendition", both are DDR 3 2gb sticks, have tried both ram stick in first slot and both work (PC posts screen) but in second slot there is no screen post but PC turn's on, I reseted CMOS all ready but no luck, only thing I don't know maybe CPU pins are bent, but again seller was selling whit 2 sticks of ram but I opted out cuz it was 8gb stick and made PC more expensive( and form that I thought both slot had to work if he sold whit 10gb ram in two sticks), so I decided to just buy whit 2gb cuz I had one stick at home to make total 4gb ram in pc, which will be ok for normal usage, and I don't have alcohol to clean ram slot, may it be just dirty and need to be cleaned?

Rest system is i5 3210, 550 psu, no VGA, 1tb we green Hdd, mb Asus b75m-a

Tnx for help :)

  • 2 weeks later...

next time try to leave spacing between paragraphs, no one likes wall of text.

have you tried install a single stick into 2nd slot? if it failed then it's your motherboard.

ive never heard this brand, sounds like chinese revamped stick to me. old standard (ddr3 2gb), generic looking green pcb, unknown speed and chip maker.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!
