First of all, I have a FX-8320. I'm going to purchase a motherboard today, these are my choices:

ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0

ASROCK 990FX EXTREME 3

GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 1.0 (Not FXA)

Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 (Not FX) - Pushing my budget.

These three boards are roughly the same price. I have a Noctua NH-D14 and plan on overclocking to 4.5GHz. I am not going to use crossfire but would it be worth it to spend the extra for one of these boards, it would be pushing it.

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 1.0

Asus M5A99FX PRO
