Hello! I am a 14 year old building my own desktop for the first time. If you can, could you open my google sheet and see if I am doing everything right and check if theirs anything i am doing wrong! Please, any help is a lot.

use pcpartpicker, it will be a lot cheaper. also, get a 2700x, its much cheaper, and can be better than a 9700k.

also, you can fit a 2080 in that budget, and get different ram, etc.

Even a 2700 is good enough, he’s 14, I’m pretty sure he is not gonna be running physics simulations or rendering 4K videos, so technically a 2600 should be good but yeaaaa

 

considering his pfp is fortnite I think it’s safe to assume this will be used to play fortnite, in thatcase an rx 580 should be good enough 

 

OP should include what he needs it for, otherwise I have to go off the assumption he will use it for fortnite and apex, since those are all the rage with 8-14 year olds these days

If you put them onto PCPartpicker, it'll tell you. At a glance, they look compatible.

Wifi: dont need it, the motherboard comes with the function

Anti-static wrist wrap: That's stupid, just dont rub yourself on stuff made of fibre constantly when you're building

Don't You need the Wifi adapter because, i cant connect Ethernet and the drivers wont be installed for the WiFi?

the board comes with a Wifi card that fits into the slot next to the rear i/o
