Hey guys,

I got my new built pc from overclockers.co.uk yesterday after reading some great reviews and waiting 2 weeks for them to build. A little while after starting it up it crashed and restarted. After several more crashes I phoned up their customer services and spoke to a guy who said it looked like a fuse error code which was '0x00000124' and gave me a few things to type in the blue screen after pressing delete in restart menu.

I'm now getting video hardware errors so I phoned them straight back, and they are picking it up tomorrow to fix which will take another 1 week they say.

I am just so frustrated that this is a brand new computer and It's having serious problems already.

I'll link the reliability folder in here so you can see the errors.. does anyone know what may be causing this? Is it just an error or could it be due to a sloppy build job?

First thing you can try is making sure you have the latest drivers because it looks like your graphics card is causing the issues.

First Build:| Gigabyte 990FXa-UD3 | FX 8120 4.0Ghz | Coolermaster Seidon 240M | Asus Radeon HD 7870 | Kingston HyperX 3k 120GB SSD + WD Green 2TB HDD | Corsair RM750 | 8Gb Kingston HyperX 1866Mhz CL9| Fractal Define R4 White/Windowed |

Take down the stop-error code it gives you (eg: "0x00000124"), this is key to the diagnosis of the issue.

If the BSOD happens again please record the stop-error code and search microsoft's troubleshooting website for an explanation of what is happening and how you may be able to fix the issue.

Don't beat yourself up over a new computer doing this, quite a few people go through the exact same thing and it's not something you should stress over, just remain calm and go through routine procedures to troubleshoot and fix the problem.

It seems to be everytime I play a game it could be 20 mins or a couple hours and then it just restarts without any warning. I had a look at the graphics card through windows and it said it was up to date. I have a driver installation cd that came in the graphics card box.. should i try installing it?

Download latest drivers from AMDs site and perform clean install with then. If it doens't have that option on setup, uninstall previous drivers manually from device manager and Programs. Reboot after that and install that file you downloaded from AMDs site. If problems continue, check on temps. What PSU are you with?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm trying to download the latest AMD drivers but not sure how to check which applies to me in the first drop down menu

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Would it be desktop graphics or embedded? I have a Radeon r7 260x graphics card

thanks guys

There's an auto detect tool on the right.  Otherwise select Desktop - R7 - R7 2xx from the drop down menus.

and remember to choose your OS. Basicly Win7 and up should be same, just make sure to select 64bit version.
