He does keep saying it is dead, however, he also says that he can maintain the budget for the (SF) channel if any of his employees want to pick up the "gauntlet"

The original format was meant to be about toys and activity, to get his somewhat sedentary office workers/ computer console operators (editors) up and out of their chairs and doing some kind of cardio exercise. But then those employees who do have an active lifestyle did not want to or need to participate in that sort of activities unless there was some sort of contest, which then changes the objectivity of the 'FUN' component...to a super-prank channel as the fun became about watching whoever was the recipient of the other employee's wrath.
