Hey guys, I'd love it if you could just go over my build before I buy it, possibly on Friday. I know the motherboard might be a bit overkill for the rest of the build but it fits in well with the colour scheme (black/white). I'm a little unsure on the case still as I haven't found one that I REALLY like but i'll keep looking. The Cooler Master one looks the best so far. I might replace the fans on it at a later date with something better though. The keyboard and mouse are from my current build and the PSU and 1070 are recent purchases as both are upgrades from broken components.

Is this for gaming only? The 970 evo is too much for a gaming PC, an 850 evo is more than enough, so you can either get more storage for the same price or the same amount for less.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I know you want white, but what about this:

It performs way better and it's gray-ish.

If you're going 1440p UW... get at LEAST a 1080 level card.  So a 1080, 1080Ti, 2070, 2080, 2080Ti.

I agree on the 970 from @fasauceome

Made me laugh, you're like budget budget budget... fuck it, KEYBOARD!!!

GTX1070 won't be able to pull off UW 1440p.

Ditch that overpriced keyboard and SSD to have money for a better GPU.

Also, get Win 10 from eBay for 5 pounds instead.
