It will be fine, just wont be in dual channel mode if you fill the other slots. 2 Ram slots in the correct spots (usually marked grey but check Mobo manual for the spots) will give dual channel

It will work just fine and if you populate the correct slots they two sticks will run in dual channel mode.

It's a dual channel board, not quad channel.

Having 4 slots doesn't make it quad channel.

Number of RAM sticks does not equal channels and having 4 populated doesn't mean you lose dual channel.

You can have 4 sticks populated and have dual channel mode still work just fine. You have 2 channels per pair of sticks.
