You can argue that the Focus is made without any tolerance at all and that causes them Problems...

 

But you know what? There's a ton of interesting PSU on the Market, that also deserve a mention.

The Silverstone Strider S (STxxF-GS) should be equally pricet like Focus (I hope) and that one causes no Problems with VEGA.

Sure there are better units than the Focus. I was under the impression that the issues mentioned only affected the Vega 56/64 cards ? I haven't seen anything regarding the 2080 ti but I will take your word on it.

Yeah, they "forgot" to mention the other known "bad" cards.

It happens with all high end GPUs, some are more affected, some not so much...

I just want to point out I've got a 500 GB 960 Samsung hard drive already that I can also put in, as well as a 1 TB network storage that I use.

 

Plenty to think about, especially now that it looks like I can get a 2080 ti in and still be under budget!
