Possibly canceled. But given how stupid pre-ordering a graphics card is, maybe it's a blessing that the link doesn't work.

canceled? I know there's the RTX 4000, 6000 and 8000, maybe the 5000 was later deemed unprofitable to make?

Wait, why would there even be Quadro cards with real time ray tracing? Would any load you'd be putting on a Quadro card even benefit from ray tracing being done in real time? I mean, I would think you would typically be rendering out a scene or something not in real time, where the RTX part becomes useless?

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

Quadro cards have always been Geforce cards in disguise but usually with lower clocks, TDP and supplied with Quadro drivers over Geforce drivers.

R418 U2 (419.17)  WHQL is the latest Quadro driver.

I understand what Quadro cards are, I just want to know what the use for real time ray tracing would be on a Quadro card. I would think if they were to launch Quadro's that were inline with their RTX counterparts, they wouldn't be called RTX or the real time ray tracing wouldn't be advertised as that's more of a use case for games versus professional workloads.

Perhaps they can make use of it in work load cases, but that would need to be implemented through software i guess.
