I would get a smaller SSD and get a better cpu. Also a better cpu cooler would be good to have.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Why the f would you go with an intel solution when you can get higher performance with AMD?

360 chipset from Intel is a cheap budget one, that motherboard has a poor VRM which leaves little room for upgrades in the future

Here's an amd alternative :

I have seen that Intel CPUs perform better than AMD CPUs in games

The 2600x can be overclocked, the 8700 is locked, you can't overclock it. Also, you have to buy a cooler for it.

Well, 2600x does not come with cooler, but regular 2600 without X in the name comes with a stock cooler included.

Also AM4 platform from AMD can be upgraded in the future, Ryzen 3 will be a thing, while you won't have much upgrade options for the Intel build.

So think about it : You can go with Intel solution that costs you 38650 INR (560$)  for CPU+Cooler , or you could pay 21000 INR for 2600x and around 4000 INR for cooler, so let's say 25000 INR in total, for maybe <5% less performance in games. Regular 2600 is 16800 INR and comes with a decent stock cooler, good enough to set the system up and if you're budget limited  you can use the pc for a month or so until you can get funds for water cooling or whatever and overclock the cpu.

The difference (excluding the price of motherboard, not to mention extra features you'd get with AMD mb compared to Intel boards) is around 13650 INR or 200 dollars in the case of 2600x.

That could be enough to go with RTX 2070 instead of RTX 2060 ... 2060 is 40000 INR or more, 2070 is 58000 ... so think about it.

You could also save some money with the case, and by going with a 500GBish SSD instead of 1 TB, so you could find the cash for a 2070 - 2070 with AMD cpu would get you higher fps than Intel cpu + 2060
