Did anyone know this settings that dramatically reduces the boot time?

 

At system Properties -> Start Up And Recovery: uncheck the box, Time to display list of operating systems (if you don't have multiple OS).

Shut down the PC, boot it up and you will be amazed from the time it gets to Windows.

(does not work on restart)

Yes. I think everyone knows that.

Just use an SSD, all the fast booting you need.

It is by far faster even with the Samsung SSD 970 EVO NVMe M.2 250GB, that i am using!!!

When you shut down a computer with Fast Startup enabled, Windows locks down the Windows hard disk. You won’t be able to access it from other operating systems if you have your computer configured to dual-boot.

 

When enabling the Fast Startup feature and then turning off your computer, the main hard drive (C:\) will be locked. Therefore, you won’t be able to access it to get files & documents. This is a clear disadvantage for users who need to use Dual Boot on the same computer.

 

Depending on your system, you may not be able to access BIOS/UEFI settings when you shut down a computer with Fast Startup enabled. When a computer hibernates, it does not enter a fully powered down mode.

Holding SHIFT and shut down the pc, it goes in troubleshooting mode as you can enter BIOS/UEFI at any moment 

Edit: And i said this feature is only for those who have only one operating system

Well it did.

From 25sec boot time, it is now 12 sec
