PC build suggestions

i want to build a PC to handle at least 1080p 60 fps in games for the next 5 years

my budget is 1700$ US  

I don't want to upgrade any of the hardware in the future 

In terms of overclocking capability not interesting for me but no harm if it's an option in the build 

i have tried to choose the parts but i don't know if it will satisfy my needs

I'd bump up to a 860 EVO 500GB, it's only $20 more and you can run some long load time games off it to help them out.

 

I'd spring for a 8700K over the 9600K, HT is nice at 5GHz if you have a Microcenter near you?

 

God, that cooler is pricey.  I'd scale that back and put it toward more CPU or SSD love.

Yeah i wouldn't put money on that if i were you. You have a strong system so you might get 1440p 60FPS.

@Herman Mcpootis @TH3R34P3R u guys both choose  an i7-8700k to last longer as u said,is there a big difference if we jump to i7-9700k or not , will it worth it ?

9700k is without ht, keep that in mind...

I think 6/12 will last longer than 8/8 marginally, personally.  But there is no crystal ball here.

An RTX 2080 is overkill for 1080p/60Hz. A Ryzen R5 2600/X and RTX 2060 would be fine for that. Upgrade when needed. That way your hardware stays current.
