would slow down ur loading times at the very least

Was just wondering if I could play a game while I install a game to the same HDD as the game I will be playing? Or will something like break? All help is much appreciated :D (Wanting to play some BFBC2 while I install BF4, on my 2TB Green)

Yes but loading times in game and your download speed will most likely suffer

you can play, you generally just want to avoid using the files that are still being copied, so play other games instead of the ones being downloaded/installed

Thanks! However I just saw, both games are on origin and origin pauses downloads/installs of games while you play another game -.- so going to play some L4D2 on steam while I let BF4 install into Origin. Thanks again!

Steam literally allowed games to be dowbnlaoded while playing like a couple of days ago xD

That's awesome. That's something that drove me crazy. If I'm playing a single player game I don't need the bandwith so it shouldn't have to stop the downloads. I use to just download games when I was away to avoid the whole deal.

you have to enable it in settings

yea it bothered me too

and u can tell it what games are allowed and which are not
