9900k is the best CPU you can get for those right now, if not Ryzen 3rd gen that's rumoured to release in summer (for those up north).

Then go for the i9 9900K. It's good for both gaming and video editing thanks to its 8C/16T and really good single core performance. That being said, I recommend waiting for Zen 2 chips to hit the market because those are rumoured to have up to 16C/32T and run at around 4.7GHz.
