A week ago, I've built my first PC with a Ryzen 5 2600x and an RX580, hanging from a 450W EVGA power supply (Full Build)

It performs rather well, but the GPU is F-ing massive and outputs more heat than my oven, and because of that i went online and checked a couple of websites on the power requirements of this thing, and apparently, most of the websites tell me that a 450W PSU is not really enough to carry this thing. Now, pcpartpicker tells me I'm well under the limit, and the PC is stable over several hours of gaming (during which the psu stays quiet and cool, so cool that I cannot feel any heat coming from it). Should I bump up the PSU wattage a bit now that I still have time to swap it with amazon?

See my signature for wattage reference. Your power is fine.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

450W is absolutely plenty, but the PSU you chose is garbage. Change it out and get a better 450W PSU. The CX450/550 is available at a decent price. The TX550M is available for $50 after rebate, so that's another good option.

I would usually recommend the Formula 450W, but that one isn't sold anymore, unfortunately.

your wattage is fine, but the quality is not that good. its a group regulated design, and if you only load the 12v

Oh, how interesting. Read several forums and reviews saying that Corsair power supplies had many problems, especially with heat dissipation and fan (the fan would break or be very loud), and after that decided to go with EVGA, as everyone said it was a good PSU... Corsair power supplies are rather expensive where I live, is it really that bad? I'm saving up for some speakers atm.

evga has some good ones, like the B2 series, and pretty much all their 80+ gold ones.

their super budget ones aren't that good, but my fav. cheap psu is the 500BQ (IDGAF thats its Tier "4"), Great features for its price range, and you can get them for 20-30$ on sale.
