RTX 2080 not hitting max power target

Hello,

I'm overclocking my Asus RTX 2080 Dual OC and first thing I did was to set max power target in Precision X1.

I'm using Unigine heaven Benchmark

Although the max power target is 120% the actual power used is 95/106% most of the times, it never goes higher and in the hardware monitor it's always hitting the power limit and then dropping back.

Voltage limit is constantly at max.

Why isn't the card reaching max power target?

Base clock is 1905 Mhz, I set +160 but goes to 2055 (+150) and after a while drops to 2040 (+135) even with the stock memory clocks, why?

Temps are at 63C with fans at 62%

Thanks for the help

Is your power supply a high enough wattage?

650W, It is enough for a I7 8700k at 5.1Ghz 1.4V and a RTX 2080

.

hitting 2055/2040 is already great, it's very rare for an air-cooled card to go beyond 2055.

I run at around 63C in game, but with sys fan + gpu fans at around 60%

Yours definetely looks better!!
