Question, I was told the GPU on the Nvidia RTX-2080's are made by Intel. If they are could the GPU over heats be caused by a poor thermal past just like the newer Intel I series cpu's? Is this somethimg you could look into and if so maybe give some ideas on how to fix them just like the deliding works on the intel cpu's?

Thanks for looking at this and I look forward to your response.

I thought so as well but a more knowledgeable person then I (so I thought) told me Intel made them since Intel owned Nvidia. I don't know the if any of this is fact or fiction but I was curious since the Intel chips run hot due to poor heating compound so I thought maybe the same thing could be done to the 2080 GPU as most people are doing to the Intel chips. I could be way off on all this but thought asking the question from a true tech guru may bare some juicy fruit for all, who knows...

What?!

What is this?!

No...Intel / AMD / nVidia are complete different competing companies.

GPUs do not use any form of Integrated Heatsink (IHS) like CPUs -- it is just BARE silicon die when you remove the graphics card cooler...
