Motherboard cpu connection cables

I have a arous z390 pro wifi motherboard with a 8+4 pin cpu conecter and all I have is the 8pin plugged in will that affect the performance of anything?

No, the extra pins are only for aggressive overclocking where power delivery becomes a bottleneck. In normal use and for mild overclocking it won't make a difference.
