internet browsers

hi guys could anybody tell me what choices i have for internet browsers. once again google is screwing things up so i would like to change.

This is funny because I changed my browser 10 minutes ago from IE as I was unable to quote on this forum (among other things) I'm using chrome right now, but I would recommend Mozilla Firefox also.

I'm currently using Chrome but I prefer Opera 12.16. It's kinda like "full internet kit".

 

Firefox is very good too.

For me, Chrome will freeze on Youtube videos, even after refreshing it'll freeze at the same spot. While same link in Firefox will play every time. I use Firefox. Only have Chrome for Hangouts.

btw my problem is with chrome is that i always use it snaped to one half of the screen  and when i take one tabblad and take it to the other half of the screen i would not properly re size with windows snap

If you use bookmarks then you should use Opera 12, this is not based off of Chromium.

I use the latest Opera(I'd recommend the newest one, which is based off of Chromium, which is what Chrome is based off of. With this you can get an extension from Opera to allow you to use Chrome extensions, but now I wouldn't recommend that because people are sellouts when it comes to extensions on Chrome, injecting ads and whatnot).

If you use the latest Opera then you can also use YouTube Center, which allows you to customize YouTube to a certain degree such as auto-light off, allow full buffering(Dash Playback: Disabled), enable/disable auto-play, etc. I'd also recommend Ad-Block and whitelist the sites you go to frequently(LTT).

Other than that, Firefox, however I've been using Opera for more than a year now and I don't have any plans on changing.

I use Opera for years and until they changed to Chromium it was the most feature full browser, but since the change many features are missing. Still a great browser though.

I used firefox for the past 8 years. But recently it seems clunky and doesn't really seem to work well. The worst for me is the newer versions have gotten so slow even on clean installs. I've hated chrome but I've moved to it instead because it just seems to work without any glitches. R.I.P. firefox for me.
