Memory speed

When I built my R5 2600 system I read that memory over 2666 like 3000 and 3200 have (OC) next to it. Does that mean overclocked? I assumed that so I got 2666 for the system as I don't care to overclock.

When's Lunch?

No matter what kit you get, you'll need to set the memory speed to its rated speed in the bios, or else it will default to somewhere near 2133mhz.

All you need to do is enable DOCP or XMP, whichever one is listed in bios for RAM settings, and that will run the RAM at its programmed specs. If you had gotten 3000 or 3200 there is a higher chance your board may not have "just worked" with those speeds, meaning manual tweaking would've been required.

I'm running at 2666 and XMP is not enabled. So the "(OC)" means overclock? That's from my motherboard manual.
