Cooler master master liquid 360 tr4

Hi all!! my cooler master master liquid 360 tr4 edition won't power up using the CPU fan header on my Asus zenith?? It works if I plug the fans into the built in fan controller on the cooler master c700p any ideas why?? Thanks

Huh umm try a different fan on the header? I have never heard of a dead header

Current main PC:

 

CPU: R7 5800x (PBO undervolted)

GPU: 7900XT

RAM: 32gb Kingston Fury @ 3600mhz

MOBO: Asus ROG B550 F Gaming Wifi

CASE: Xtia Xproto ATX

 

Server PC:

 

CPU: Xeon X5690

GPU: R9 Fury X

RAM: Assorted 4gb sticks (24gb total)

MOBO: Asus Sabretooth X58

CASE: Alienware Area 51 ALX

Thanks terabyte I did try that with one of my case fans and it worked fine??

The only difference is that the header has all four pins but the built in controller only uses 3 pins if that makes any difference??
