Hi people! I'm from Argentina and prices are REALLY crazy here.
I need some help to decide in GPU (I'm almost sure I'm going for a B450+R5 1600, 'cause that's the best board there is for the price and for some reason the 1600 costs almost $90 less than the 2600).
So, here's the thing. An RX 570 here can be found (new, and in the place with the best price) at $155, the 580 is $250, and the 590 is almost $400.  That last one if freacking crazy. It's cheaper to buy 2 570 and having them in crossfire than buying a 590, and only slightly more expensive than buying a 580.
For reference, 1050 non-TIs, for some strange, reason are the same price (if not more expensive) than the 570. The 1060 6gb is $285 and the 2060 and 1660TI are about the same price at around $470.
I was planning on expending about $800 on the PC that I'll be using for gaming, some video editing (I'm planning on starting a YT channel) and some work for college (I'm a physics student, and not advance enough to be making crazy calculations, but I might need to do them eventually -but that's for what servers are for, right?-). As I said prices down here are crazy, and about 30-40% higher than in the US.
If you have some recommendation, it'll be highly welcome.

How is the used market? Such as used 1070s, 590s or other cards. I'm going to assume the new 1070 and 1660ti there are more expensive than the 590

perhaps a ryzen 5 2400G and just use that for low graphics gaming for the time being until you can save up more for a better GPU? or for prices to drop?

570 is not that bad, not as bad as 1050ti.

Yes you can crossfire it.

Almost non-existent. And prices are about the same, only slightly cheaper and no guaranty. The page I'm going to use to buy the PC doesn't currently have a 1070 on storage. And the 1660ti cost the same as a 2060 (around $470).

Prices dropping and Argentina is practically an oxymoron.
I was thinking about that, but wouldn't the performance in content creating drop a lot with a 2400G? I'll likely wait for July to see the new things, as I currently only have $600 saved. I'll have to see how are the new APUs then. But the prices seem air fairly fair (for the 570).

I was watching a video and it seems like 2 570 in crossfire are about the same performance as a 590 in some games. How does that translate to content creation?

If your software can use 2 GPUs it'll be much faster than a single 580 or 590 (similar to how a slower but higher core count CPU wins if your applications use all the cores). Be aware crossfire support in games will be iffy, same as SLI, but usually you can get them to behave decently. A single 570 4GB (or even better, 8GB) handles 1080p high/ultra settings in pretty much everything though, and given it's the most reasonably priced one I'd go for one or two of those.
