A while ago, I was at my friends house and he had recently gotten a micro-ATX NZXT case and we moved his computer into that. He replaced one of the fans in it and had no use for it so he let me take it. I decided that I would put it in the side of my case to blow onto my graphics card. It has the normal fan plug, but it also has a 2 pin power connector for an LED. I like the look of LED's and I would like to have it, but there is nowhere to plug in the LED power. I was wondering if there is any way to get some type of converter to plug this in just to make my case look better. If not, then it's no big deal; I value the importance of a fan whether it has an LED or not.

wouldnt it be a molex connector?

It isn't they usually have a molex to a few 2 pin connectors so if you have multiple LEDs they work in unison

I'm looking at it now and it looks like it is the same size as the normal fan plug, but I haven't tried plugging it into anything yet

WORKED IT OUT!

The led is powered the same as the fan, that is the connector to turn the LED on ans off, Jumper it to turn it on or get a switch made for it

Yes, that is the connector.

They are standard in Cosmos 2 and CM Storm Stryker. Attached to my built in led switch on Stryker.  Haven't seen them anywhere else, but give me 5 min and see what i can find :)
