+1 for windspeed.. in the states the fractal design cases seem to do price battles for the R4 and Midi/R2

the midi/R2 would be a "air" case for ventilation, but for looks, you'll have to have a vacuum cleaner

nearby, you will get dust rings for just the OE R2 140 fans.

you could also purchase someone's discarded HDD cage(s) for more rack/HDD support. add another

3 HDD over the 120/140 floor fan for a total of 11 3.5" HDD. toss the OS drive in the ODD bay and you

got more

The R2 looks cool, and is 70 USD on NCIX.com.

EDIT: If you truly wanted as many drives as possible, and didn't want something quite as big as the 900D, and money was not a problem, you could get this :p : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112390&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

find one with as many hdd cages you can and get it.

If you want alot (12+) you have two options, the lian li cube thingy that is 20, or a server case. server cases generally are too expensive for home usage.

for a small case that can fit 8... most (from memory) have about 6 at that price range, many need to get a 3x3.25" adapter for 3, 5" bays.

I have a 4u eackmount server that sits in the rackmount chassis at work. It fits up to eeb served boards which are 12 inches long and 13 inches wide i believe anyway its a codegen 4u rackmount case. I may acrually drill some holes in the top to fit my h100i for it because it has great build qualitty j am suee i can get away with that. Look them up theg are good. If you wouldnt want a rackmount case then get a r4 because it is just such a nice case and has 8 hdd mounts and 2 ssd or 2.5 inch hdd mounts on the back of the mobo tray.
