AT2020 Sensitivity/Pop Filter

Hello all, I currently have an AT2020 Mic and I find that the sensitivity is way to high even when I got into the settings to lower it, the mic just picks up noises easily. I did buy a windsock for it as it is near my window but my question is will a pop filter on top of a windsock help reduce noise input?

Then you should be able to lower the gain in windows and then in whatever software you're using to record
