Budget microphone setup

Hello,

 

I'm building my first pc and I need a microphone.

 

I'm really a noob regarding to audio capturing, but reading online I understood that having a condenser microphone connected to a XLR interface is the way to go and way better than spending the same price on a usb microphone.

 

I'll use the mic mainly for streaming, so I don't need nothing fancy, I want to spend the least possible and get the better value.

 

I'll buy an arm stand with a shock mount and pop filter.

 

My question is: what would you recommend me to buy to get a decent quality at the lowest possible price?

A BM-700, BM-800 or BM-8000 would be a good choice paired with a cheap Phantom Power 48V unit and some USB soundcard.

Do I need a Phantom power? What soundcard can you recommend?

If you were to get everything from eBay, each component for itself it would come to roughly the price of that bundle, it's not a bad combination.

I'm just not sure how 5V USB would power an 18V microphone phantom power.

I think those cost a bit more, not worth it for budget microphones.
