Ssd issue

Hello,I have recently bought a Kingston a400 120gb For my Samsung nc10 and once i installed it it wouldnt show up!I also connected the drive to my desktop and it worked fine!

Is there anyway i can Fix this issue?

I Installed it via a yt vid

I was asking in what kind of machine you installed it in. A laptop? A desktop PC? This will be important if you want us to find your problem

The drive is installed on The samsung nc10.

So a laptop, there's not really a lot that can go wrong there.

 

Did you remove the original HDD for the installation or are there additional 2.5'' bays?

Sadly the is only 1 port and yes i have removed the old one

And I assume the old HDD was being picked up by the PC.

Check again if the SSD is installed properly (read: the plugged in all the way). I don't know your laptop, but in some you really have to push the SSD in a bit until it sits flush.

 

Is the SSD not detected in the BIOS?

It have pushed it all the way in and it is not detected.Yes the ssd is not picked up by the bios.
