PC spy/monitoring program

Hello,

I used a software for my company that was integrated with a spy feature where I could see what any employee was doing on their computer screen and watch them move their mouse and everything.

Does anyone have a security program that does this - free would be the best but I just need one that does this without the employees knowledge, even if I have to pay.  Screenshots during intervals would be good if not!

Use the built in windows remote desktop. There wouldn't be any performance hit then

A lot of my clients use ActivTrack. I've never messed with it beyond installing the agent, but the first 3 users are free and it's completely undetectable. It's good for productivity monitoring but it isn't a live camera.

If you actually need to gather data on somebody Veratio 360 is the big guns. $90/endpoint but it's spook-tier. Everyone I deploy that to gets termed a day later.

OP what are you trying to accomplish?

 

Are you monitoring them for quality assurance such as in a customer support environment, or are you doing so to catch bad behaviors? 

Many employees if they have internet access will be going to non work related sites, so a transparent proxy with reporting could be a better idea if its behavioral, then you can run regular reports across the lot rather than having to manually observe the user and waste time trawling through hours and hours of recordings?

 

Otherwise something like SentryPC would be about $1k/year....

Just looking to monitor what is on their screen when they are supposed to be working.  

In a perfect world this is the scenario:

Master Software is installed on my computer and slave software on the employee computers. Slave software has an ID for each computer. I log in to master software and then choose the computer ID I wish to see what they are doing on their computer and it shows me their desktop and all windows they have open and shows me their mouse movements.

 

I think ActivTrak is what I am looking for - BUT I am really trying to check every option possible as this is going to rolled out to my company as well as another 13 companies - so we want it to be as close to everything everyone wants.

 

So what I am saying is that I have currently looked at

SentryPC

Veratio 360

 

But please, if you guys have other softwares like this I would like to check them out and compare as well.
