IS IT SAFE TO BUY A USE DEEP LEARNING GPU

T3King

I looking to buy a used gpu that was used for deep learning $ 525 1080ti. Was used for 9 months ran 5 to 7 hours 7 days a week. ambient temperatures were around 30C idle, 50C under load was never overclocked. Would this card be okay to buy.

100% fine I bought my 1080ti and a recent 1070 Xtreme that were used for mining. They came to me cleaner than most cards that were used for gaming.

in a business i assume? those are way better to buy than normal cards, because businesses make sure they always run in the most optimal conditions and are much better maintained

Chances are it was run under the same conditions as a good mining card, lower than 100% power for increased efficiency.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

He said he ran them in a house. I used the cards for training Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) for academic research he said

Sure buy it! A GPU normally doesnt degrade in performance gradually over time. That trophy is taken by batteries and ssds
