i have an alienware, but their tri mount screws leaves a bit to be desired, but once you get a good paste application, its not bad i have a oc 1070 with 7700hq running at almost base clock  speeds of desktop variant

but the software that dell can be a bit of a pain

asus thin and lights are also really good, but i mainly went for alienware for the good cooling* and external gpu

its in my signature, but its a alienware r3 15, with a 1070 and 7700 hq, goes for around $1500 but that was the price last year ( be less with 1060 or 1050 ti as well) the main reason i mention it, is because its a decent price to give decent cooling , the only downside is the trimount for the cpu

and for a bit cheaper , you can get some asus laptops like Scar for $1100 but with 1050 ti

1200 $

I assumed that your budget is 1200 CAD, not USD?

With 1050TI and low sRGB IPS:

Lenovo Legion Y530 (optional high sRGB 144Hz IPS), manual SSD upgrade

Dell G5 5590

Dell G5 5587

Acer Nitro 5 - must undervolt+repaste
