Help choosing ram.

Any real advantages to either of these sets over the other?

One is 32 GB of slightly faster RAM, the other is 64 GB of slightly slower RAM. So the advantage is having literally double the RAM.

Nothing really tangible unless what you're doing requires obscene amounts of RAM, in which case going with 64GB over 32 might be a good idea.

Well i’m building a gaming/streaming and editing pc with really no budget limit, I was just wondering if having 64gb of 3600mhz ram is better than 32gb of 4000mhz, wasnt sure if the amount of memory balances out or surpasses the reach of the faster ram due to simply having mote of it, not very well versed in the specifications of ram.

I kinda figured that faster ram in smaller quantities would be better, but I was just wondering if having more ram thats slightly slower would have any advantages since there is more. I’m only gonna be gaming editing and streaming.

The difference between those kits is pretty minimal when talking about gaming and streaming. There's also the possibility that 4000 MHz kit won't even post on your motherboard because very high speed memory kits, from Corsair at least, are only verified on 1-2 motherboards. Even with the verified model, it can still be pretty dodgy

64GB is pretty overkill for that kind of use case, 32GB is more than enough.

Eh, in a lot of cases you won't even be able to hit that 4000MHz, and even if you do, it's diminishing returns after 3000. You probably won't need 64GB either, so personally I would just go with 32GB running at a less overkill speed of 3000-3200MHz.
