Hi, I'm planning to get either two Asus VN248H-P IPS panels or two BenQ XL2420TE. Running off two GTX 780 SLI

What are the tradeoffs between these two? Any suggestions must support VESA mounting.

If you are a gamer 144hz is almost a necessity. You will not only have a tangible advantage in multiplayer games but it also looks sexy smooth. PLus the XL2420QE has probably the best color reproduction of any 144hz monitor (still sub par however).

IPS has very good color reproduction and in general it just looks better.

Personally I think 144hz is much better for gaming however this is an unpopular opinion around here I do know.

Not enough real estate. Also worried about 3x resolution spread across the limited memory. Not willing to sacrifice performance.

Can it really get that high? I have never heard of an overclock that high or is that model magic or something.

There's not many games that support 2 monitor gaming, but dual monitors are very nice for productivity. I would get an IPS panel.

Asus VN248H-P IPS

I've got two vn248h monitors and they're amazing, I've never used 144hz but I made the decision to go for IPS and don't regret it. Maybe testing both out in a local pc store or something could help? I'm basically saying that the IPS panels won't disappoint.

Intel i7 4770k @4.5ghz, Asus Maximus VI Formula, Asus Geforce GTX 780, Corsair h100i, Corsair Neutron GTX 240gb, WD Black 1tb, Corsair 750D, Corsair AX860i w/ Sleeved Cables.

I rarely leave the build logs section.

I wouldn't get the ASUS monitor as it is a TN-panel.

Linus said it was not the worst. I think it would be a fair trade-off for g-sync.  Not seen it in person either so can't say much.

Plus don't know if the guy really cares that much if it's a TN or not. I don't to an extant.

 helps alot with multitasking.

Yesyeysyeys! Been mt first few months with 2 minitors, and I gotta say, I love how much stuff I can just have up around to look at. Better to have an overclocking program in one monitor, and a game in one also. Easy way to monitor things.

The QNIX looks nice but 27" is way too big. I'm running off a single 23" Samsung at the moment that is very close to me. I can't even imagine a 27" setup without changing my desk which is not possible.

Get a 1440p IPS panel. It'll look better than the other 2 options and won't be wasting the power of the 780 sli.

I'm really tempted to get it because of all these suggestions. Alright guys I'll take the QNIX into heavy consideration. My problem with 1440p is I don't have a good setup for 27" monitors. It can be done with my setup but I don't want to be straining my neck.

My desk only goes back about 2 feet.

4K is an option.
