Some Case Questions

So, I felt adventurous and am thinking of painting my HAF 912.

The Case is mostly (Electric Grade) Plastic, with a bit of metal I believe. 

 

My Questions are, what Primer & Paint do you guys recommend? And should I use sandpaper as well?

Please recommend some decent parts. 

I am looking for a matte black (flat) in the interior of the case. 

 

I understand this is more in the "Modding" Section.
