Problem with my RTX 2070?

dizson1

I bought not so long ago an RTX 2070, but something weird is happening with the card. Sometimes it seems like the card turns off for some reason, the leds shut off on it for a few sec and if I play games it throws me out to the desktop, then I go back from the desktop and the game is running as if I were pressing alt tab, but I don't. Same if I watch a movie, the desktop comes up for a few sec, the card is not overheathing, what could be the reason?

Is there still warranty on the card? Should probably call up the manufacturer and get that sorted out.

Might be a driver issue. If you bought a used GPU (I know it's unlikely given that it's an RTX) have you uninstalled the old drivers using DDS? And if it's new ,try some older drivers. But the RTX cards have been known just to straight up not work so if nothing ,RMA is your best option.
