Low fps after driver update?

Hello I recently updated my drivers to the new 419.17 and I've been getting worse fps in games like fortnite before I updated I got around 240fps capped all low and now I get 130fps all low

what is your computer/graphics card? if it's a laptop some power saving option might have been turned on by the update

System specs ,game and try maxing everyhing.

ive had similar problems. i used DDU it was better then another update and the performence has become worse again

you can try to use DDU (display driver uninstaller) like Acid Panda said and do a fresh install (download the new drivers directly from nvidia website, don't let Windows update install the driver)

also, check in windows performance settings, nvidia control panel and Geforce experience (if it's installed) if everything is on max performance
