LL120

Go to solution Solved by Corsair Nick,

I'm not sure about compatibility with the JRAINBOW LED header on MSI motherboards.  You'll need to reach out to MSI regarding that information unfortunately.  Some of their motherboards do have a JCORSAIR header that is compatible with our LL120 fans.  You'll need the 6-port LED hub connected to that header, and the fans.

Not sure which kit you received, but this is a required component for the fans whether they are connected to the JCORSAIR header or a Lighting Node Pro or a Commander Pro.  Part number on our webstore is:

Hello!

I got a Corsair LL120 fan as a gift, but the person did not know I needed the Lightning Node Pro for the leds to run and to run the Corsair iCue ... I wonder if there's any way I can turn on the LEDs. Only connect, without all those customizations. I have an MSI H370 Gaming Pro Carbon. I tried plugging in JRAINBOW pins, but nothing happened.

Anyway, thanks!

the LEDs did not even turn on when I connected to jrainbow ... I did not test on jrgb because I have a LED strip already connected

iirc you need the lightning node, so you might be out of luck...

i'll add @Corsair Nick to be sure
