You can try it. But like I said, you can simply look at the usage and see where the issues are.

Is that a single 8gig stick or 2 4’s?

4x2, cheapest 2x8 is about 120 usd and cheapest 4x2 is about 90 (same model i have right now at least, don't know how much it matters, if you can use different brands, etc)

Yeah 100% CPU, 94% ram and 3% GPU? GPU usage seems weird

I kinda dealt with the lag but I was on 1440. Used a much weaker card when I played on 1080p.

Ended up upgrading when the new cod came out. Wasn’t gonna continue to suffer like that. Well worth it in every way. Seamless gameplay and high FPS and max detail on 1080p.

Yeah a new CPU would be the best option, but since i'd have to replace mobo and ram as well i'll have to wait till summer, can't afford it all right now

Well the gpu is prolly just bugged. But the ram is gonna still be an issue. You can try getting more and limit frames or build a whole new rig. If you were to try the ram, could do another 4x2 kit. I’d get the same speed as you currently have, just to make it easier.

Really on you.
