iGpu help

jobimannen

Hi,

Im wondering if theres any way to force my gpu to always be the graphics processor even though im not in a game.

I've had to plug my one monitor into the iGpu port on the motherboard but i can notice chrome lacking behind

when playing two streams of video at the same time. Ive never had this problem before but since i got a 1080 i lacked an input that i used before.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Best way is to just buy a converter for one of the outputs on your 1080

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

I would just buy adapters and plug all monitors into your 1080. The other option is to add all of your games to the "High performance" Graphics profile in windows.
Linus had to do this in his "Graphics card with no video outputs????" Video. I'll find a link if you want.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

Thanks i did watch it but didnt know if it would apply to the same situation, will probably end up just spending the few extra bucks on adapters.

Don’t move the videos between the two screens. Takes a minute to reset and switch. I play videos on both some times and it’s normally fine if the windows that on the original screen.
