My laptop motherboard is dead, is it better to get it fixed or to replace the entire thing.

Still under warranty?

Do you live in Australia? (If so, you can most likely quote ACL if out of warranty).

Still good enough for your current use?

if the mobo is cheap on ebay, do you have the skills to repair it yourself?
