not sure if you needed wifi or not, but that can save you $30

keep in mind this is without peripherals and monitor and OS. If you need those in it, you'll need to cut back on the GPU

Insanity is not the absence of sanity, but the willingness to ignore it for a purpose. Chaos is the result of this choice. I relish in both.

If thats too much, drop the gpu and get a 2400g, then buy a gpu when you can afford it

Under $600 and a good list.

R5 2600 is much better than R5 2400G if you're going to use a dedicated GPU and you are getting a dedicated GPU. RX 580 is ~10% faster then RX 570, but this list has the best motherboard in case you want a more powerful CPU eventually when 7nm Ryzen comes out and prices drop. GPUs are very easy to upgrade, so might as well not break the budget for only a little more performance in the short term. You'll want more than 8 GB of RAM sooner rather than later so I put a 2 channel kit with no frills on the list. This list has the fastest and most reliable SSD compared to the above lists.

CPU: i7 4790k @ 4.7 GHz

GPU: XFX GTS RX580 4GB

Cooling: Corsair h100i

Mobo: Asus z97-A

RAM: 4x8 GB 1600 MHz Corsair Vengence

PSU: Corsair HX850

Case: NZXT S340 Elite Tempered glass edition

Display: LG 29UM68-P

Keyboard: Roccat Ryos MK FX RGB

Mouse: Logitech g900 Chaos Spectrum

Headphones: Sennheiser HD6XX

OS: Windows 10 Home
