Planning on building in here, want to put some 80 mm fans at the top at low speed just to get some good exhaust, so I want to figure out whether there would be a reasonable way to replicate Silverstone's vent holes, or whether I should just aim for cleanish slats with the angle grinder and touch up with the dremel, or if anyone has a better idea for me that'd be cool.

You would be better to cut the fan opening and install a grill over top to closely resemble it.
