vrm thermal pads?

installing my first gpu waterblock on a gtx 1070 not sure if the vrm's should get a thermal pad, instructions are kinda vague. I don't know if they will even make contact with waterblock.

if the instructions say to put a thermal pad on the chokes then do so, otherwise dont bother. chokes dont mind being hot but the rest of the VRM(to the right of what you circled) dosnt want to go over 125C.  The waterblock for my 1080 has thermalpads for the VRM on the back IIRC

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
